Samantha Irvin Bound To WWE Non-Compete Clause

Samantha Irvin is currently unable to make appearances for other professional wrestling companies.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Irvin is currently subject to a non-compete clause with WWE which prevents her from appearing on any combat sports programming. There is no word on how long Irvin's non-compete clause is, nor if she is interested in continuing with pro wrestling.

Irvin was backstage at AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen earlier this week. She is the fiancee of AEW's Ricochet and she has been at tapings of AEW TV from time to time.

Irvin was previously the ring announcer within WWE from 2021 until she resigned from the organisation in October 2024. Relations with WWE have appeared to become strained since her departure, though, with some in WWE becoming upset over her use of social media where she has admitted to never liking ring announcer and wanting to use the position to move onto bigger roles within the company.

Another name reportedly not joining All Elite Wrestling is Beth Phoenix. The WWE Hall of Famer was backstage at Fight For The Fallen due to the show being in Asheville, North Carolina. Phoenix lives in the city with husband Cope (AKA Adam Copeland).
