Sami Zayn Misses Working With Kenny Omega

Sami Zayn Says He Misses Working With Talent Such As AEW EVP Kenny Omega

In a recent interview with Pete Rosenberg on Rosenberg Radio, WWE Superstar Sami Zayn spoke about a number of topics - including missing working with current AEW EVP Kenny Omega. Sami explained:

"It’s guys that I’ve worked with before that I just miss and that I would love to work with again now, like Kenny Omega just as an example. I’m listing a lot of AEW guys here, but you know, I haven’t seen him in 10 years. That’s insane. The last time I saw him was in December of 2012. I miss him and I miss working him. He was super easy to work - he was a lot like me actually, I thought, very detail-oriented."

According to Cagematch.net, Sami's last match with Omega came when the former was wrestling under his El Generico persona, at DDT's Never Mind 2012 show in Tokyo, Japan.

Kenny is currently in a trios feud alongside the Young Bucks, in the midst of a best-of-seven series with Death Triangle. Sami Zayn is a prominent feature of WWE's current product, with his ongoing alliance with The Bloodline a key part of their programming at present.
