Sammy Guevara Quits AEW's Inner Circle, Proud & Powerful Vs. Chris Jericho & Jake Hager Set For Next Week's Dynamite

Inner Circle implodes!

Civil war broke out within The Inner Circle on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite.

The faction members met in the squared circle in Atlantic City for a team meeting as Chris Jericho looked to clear the air with Santana and Ortiz.

Proud and Powerful's resentment towards Le Champion only grew, though, after Santana claimed the faction was all about Jericho and noted they were done playing second fiddle to the former AEW World Champion.

The Painmaker then sparked hostilities after he said The Inner Circle recruited the wrong members of LAX, telling Jake Hager to phone Homicide and Hernandez which prompted Santana to grab Jericho by the throat.

Sammy Guevara then interjected and told his faction-mates he was quitting The Inner Circle until they sort out their problems before he headed backstage, leaving his Inner Circle vest in the ring.

A challenge from Santana to Jericho and Hager followed and Proud & Powerful vs. Le Champion and Hager was booked for next week's Dynamite, with The Demo God finishing the segment by telling his friends there was going to be "some changes" after he and the Bellator star win.

Also set for Dynamite is Mercedes Martinez vs. Thunder Rosa in a No DQ Match. The two women faced off on Friday's Rampage but the match ended in a disqualification and Britt Baker revealed she was the person who hired the former NXT talent.
