Samoa Joe, Dr. Britt Baker Advance In Owen Hart Foundation Cup
One final is now set
Samoa Joe has advanced to the finals of Owen Hart Foundation Cup men's tournament, while Dr. Britt Baker advances to the women's final, each following semifinal wins on Wednesday's Dynamite.
Joe defeated Kyle O'Reilly in the men's semifinal round. The finish came when Joe countered an O'Connor roll into the Cocquina Clutch, to which O'Reilly passed out.
Joe will face O'Reilly's stablemate Adam Cole in the final round at Double or Nothing on Sunday.
Baker won her semifinal match over Toni Storm. After backdropping out of Storm's Storm Zero finish, Baker sat down on Storm and grabbed the ropes for the illegal pin.
In Sunday's final, Baker will face the winner of Ruby Soho vs. Kris Statlander, which will take place on Friday's Rampage.
