Samoa Joe: "I’m Not Done In The Ring"

The veteran still has designs on wrestling...

Samoa Joe last wrestled on February 10, taking part in an eight-man tag on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Since then, Joe has almost exclusively been doing commentary duties on the red brand, and some have wondered if the 41-year-old may be winding down his days inside the ring.

In an appearance on Taylor Wilde's "Wilde On" podcast, the former ROH, TNA, and NXT champion claims that he still intends to get back into the ring, one day in the future. For right now, though, Joe's content to explore the world of broadcasting.

“As of right now I’m enjoying commentary on Raw," Joe says. "It’s been a fun challenge. It’s something very very new, and I’m enjoying that. Obviously I’m not done in the ring by no means. I think right now I’m just kinda exploring things and seeing how I feel about things.

"And aside from that, doing a lot of voice acting lately, it’s kinda fun and cool...I’m very very fortunate, and I’m very very happy that I’m doing the things that I’m doing right now.”
