Santos Escobar Turns Heel On WWE SmackDown
Santos Escobar has snapped
A massive heel turn took place on WWE SmackDown last night, causing a major break within the Latino World Order faction. In something that has been bubbling under the surface for several months now - ever since Rey Mysterio became United States Champion - Santos Escobar has finally blown a fuse and attacked his idol and mentor.
After being accused of leaving the set of brass knuckles in the ring at Crown Jewel by Carlito, which in turn led to Logan Paul defeating Rey Mysterio to become United States Champion, Escobar stood on watching as Carlito was on the receiving end of a beatdown from the Street Profits and Bobby Lashley. Mysterio made it clear he was unhappy with Escobar after he had to make the save himself.
Escobar flipped and launched a vicious assault on Mysterio, though he was clearly conflicted about what he was doing. Later in the night, Escobar claimed that Mysterio had it coming, doubling down on his actions. Where this leaves the LWO and other members such as Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde is unclear.
