Saraya Wins AEW Women's World Title At All In

Saraya wins it in her home country

Saraya is the new AEW Women's World champion, after defeating Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, and Toni Storm in a four-way match at All In at Wembley Stadium in London.

In the final scene of the match, Baker was struggling to put Shida into the Lockjaw, but Shida kept resisting. During the struggle, Storm hit the ring to try and hit Baker with the belt, but Saraya cut her off with spray paint to the eyes. As Baker and Shida were still tied up, Saraya hit Storm with the Nightcap to win the title.

During the match, Saraya and Storm had a falling out, exacerbated by Saraya accidentally striking Saraya's mother Julia (Sweet Saraya) during a spot at ringside. Ruby Soho attempted to intervene at one point, but Storm struck her.

This is Saraya's first title reign in AEW. She previously held the WWE Divas title twice, and the NXT Women's title once.

Shida's second AEW Women's title reign ends at just 25 days. She won the title from Storm on the August 2 episode of Dynamite in Tampa.
