Sasha Banks Provides Update After Injury Scare At WWE House Show

Banks was helped to the back after a match against Charlotte Flair on Sunday night

WWE returned to the road after the Day 1 PPV on January 1, with a WWE Supershow taking place at Fayetteville, NC on Sunday. During the course of the house show, Sasha Banks took on WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and appeared to suffer an injury to her leg or knee during the bout.

A report from PWInsider states that Banks’ left leg was planted awkwardly while taking an over-the-knee backbreaker from Flair, and although Banks finished the match, she was checked on by refs and led to the back post-match with help from officials, before later being medically evaluated by WWE staff.
