Sasha Banks Staying Quiet Regarding WWE SummerSlam 2021 Absence
Banks was due to wrestle at the event
Sasha Banks is remaining tight-lipped on just exactly why she was absent from WWE SummerSlam 2021.
Banks had been scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship at the show but, having missed previous SmackDowns and events due to 'unforeseen circumstances', it was announced just as the match was due to begin that Banks was not able to compete.
Becky Lynch ended up taking Banks' place in the match, with The Boss returning at WWE Extreme Rules a month later. But Banks is not giving anything away about why she wasn't involved at SummerSlam this year.
Speaking with the New York Post, when asked about the reason she missed this year's SummerSlam, Banks said: "There’s no reason. I’m not telling you anything. You’re not Oprah. You’re not the WWE Network, you’re not getting me the views.
"I’m not telling you my secrets. You can read my book. You can read my documentary when I want to speak about it. Thank you very much."
