Sasha Banks Teases WWE NXT Return

Sasha Banks has teased a potential return to NXT

Could Sasha Banks be the next main roster member to show up in NXT 2.0?

The Boss has teased a return to the third brand, where she performed between 2012 and 2015.

Before last night's episode of NXT, Banks tweeted an undated picture of herself sitting on the steps at the Performance Center while looking at an NXT banner alongside the caption 'I'll be watching'.

Sasha and her current SmackDown Women's Tag Team Championship partner Naomi recently mentioned their desire to work in NXT, with Naomi specifically mentioning Mandy Rose as someone she'd like to cross paths with.

During a press conference the team gave during WWE's recent European Tour, Banks heaped praise on two particular NXT stars she would like to work with, saying:

"I really like Kayden [Carter] and Kacy [Kantazaro, AKA Katana Chance] down there. They've been working really hard. I've trained with both of them at D-Von's school. I love girls that want to do more. You have the Performance Centre, which is crazy, amazing, but if you go outside of that and want to grow and keep on learning, I admire girls that keep on wanting to be their best. I've seen them work so hard for so long and would love the opportunity to go down there and tangle with them".

Sasha Banks did make a brief return to NXT in the summer of 2020.

During her short stay she and Bayley defended their Women's Tag Team Titles (against Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox), while Banks also lost a hard-fought non-title match to then-NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai.
