Satoshi Kojima Vs. Eddie Edwards Set For IMPACT Wrestling

Former friends turned rivals?

A short-term alliance appears to have crumbled.

Eddie Edwards and Satoshi Kojima had teamed together in recent weeks and they even challenged Violent By Design for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship on the June 24 edition of IMPACT. The champions retained the belts, though, after Joe Doering countered a Boston Knee Party attempt from Edwards into a Revolution Bomb for the 1-2-3.

There was no fall out between Kojima and Edwards before IMPACT went off the air, but both men will square off on the July 2 episode of IMPACT.

This will be the second time they have gone one on one, having previously faced each other in Pro Wrestling NOAH back in April 2013. Kojima walked away with the victory on that occasion.

Three other matches have also already been made official for this week's IMPACT. Willie Mack and Rich Swann will face TJP and Fallah Bahh, Petey Williams will clash with Chris Bey, and Team Callis will take on Team Dreamer.
