Serena Deeb May Have Signed With AEW

Following her match with Thunder Rosa...

Back on the September 2 edition of Dynamite, Thunder Rosa had a tune-up match against Serena Deeb ahead of her clash with Hikaru Shida at All Out.

To the surprise of many, the match was an evenly fought contest and Rosa barely picked up the win after she caught Deeb with the Thunder Driver.

All Elite Wrestling was seemingly impressed by Serena's performance as Chris Jericho revealed on Talk Is Jericho he is under the impression Deeb has signed with the young promotion.

The Demo God said: "Right now I've got NWA Women's Champion Thunder Rosa. She had a hell of a debut on Dynamite last week in a great match against Serena Deeb. Got Serena signed actually I believe, and then had another great match challenging AEW Women's Champion Shida for the title at All Out on Saturday."

Deeb's Dynamite debut came only five months after she was released by WWE as part of company-wide cutbacks in April. Before her release, she worked as a coach at the Performance Center after she retired from the ring in 2017.
