Seth Rollins Provides Update On Back Injury Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania 35

Rollins takes on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship next weekend...

WWE have been protecting Seth Rollins head of The Architect's WrestleMania 35 match for the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar.

The two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been taken off many live events over the last little while as he has been struggling with a back injury.

Despite these rumours, Seth has managed to have three televised matches so far this month. He was in the main event of Fastlane for The Shield's last ever match, before taking on Shelton Benjamin and Drew McIntyre respectively on Raw.

Rollins recently spoke with Sporting News and confirmed that he has been cleared by WWE's medical staff ahead of 'Mania next weekend:

“I did have a lingering back issue that I was dealing with. (but) I’ve been cleared by our doctors. I had to take a few weeks to rest but it looks like I’ll be fine moving forward. I feel good. I’ve ramped up training in the gym and at my school. I feel healthy and, hopefully, I’ll be able to pick that guy up and throw him around a little bit so I’m not the only one getting tossed around.”
