Seth Rollins' Role In Captain America: Brave New World Revealed

Seth Rollins won't be taking a page out of Santino Marella's book, however

Seth Rollins' role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Captain America: Brave New World, has been revealed.

According to Twitter account @CanWeGetToast, Rollins will portray the supervillain Cobra in the fourth Captain America movie. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has also wrapped filming on the movie, according to the report, leaving him completely free for his WWE commitments.

Cobra has been a Marvel supervillain since his debut in 1963 but the character has yet to appear in the MCU. The character is typically known as King Cobra, with Klaus Voorhees having gained serpent-like powers after he was bitten by a radioactive cobra. King Cobra has been a member of the Serpent Squad and Serpent Society, with the Serpent Society set to be the villains in Captain America: Brave New World.

Within Marvel Comics, King Cobra has faced off with the likes of Thor, Daredevil, Captain America, and Spider-Man.

Outside of the MCU, Seth Rollins is currently the top babyface on Monday Night Raw. He has defended the World Heavyweight Championship once so far, defeating Damian Priest on June 5. Rollins will reportedly put the gold on the line against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank on July 1.
