Seth Rollins To Miss Raw Due To Hollywood Commitments

Seth Rollins was absent from this week’s Monday Night Raw due to the fact that he is away filming on the set of Captain America: New World Order. Instead, a pre-taped interview was put in place to help promote his upcoming WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Night Of Champions 2023 against AJ Styles. 

Despite the upcoming episode of Raw being the red brand’s go-home show for the event, Rollins will not be in town to hype up the match. Dave Meltzer revealed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rollins would once again be absent. 

“Rollins was off Raw this week and next week, so they did a pretape segment, because he was filming the movie “Captain America: New World Order.” The movie is currently filming in Atlanta for a release next May.”

Either way, Rollins will be at the upcoming Night Of Champions PPV event to determine who will be crowned as the new (or first ever?) WWE World Heavyweight Champion under this new belt’s design. He and AJ Styles both won their respective sides of the World Heavyweight Title tournament bracket to earn the right to face off at the event.
