Seth Rollins Wins World Heavyweight Title At WWE Night Of Champions

Seth Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion!

After four years, Seth Rollins is a world champion in WWE once again.

The former Tyler Black went one-on-one with AJ Styles in the final of the WWE World Heavyweight Title tournament at Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27.

The title match opened the pay-per-view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and after a slow start, Rollins managed to score the victory after a Pedigree and Stomp. Seth suffered from a kayfabe knee injury but he managed to power through the storyline pain to hit his finisher.

Triple H presented the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Rollins after the match and The Architect celebrated in front of the fans in Saudi Arabia as fireworks filled the Jeddah Superdome.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship was created in April, with Rollins set to be the top champion on Monday Night Raw.

The win in Saudi Arabia also makes Rollins a five-time world champion in WWE. He is a two-time Universal Champion and he has previously held the WWE Championship on two occasions.
