Several Matches Confirmed For AEW Redemption 2026

We are a little under two weeks away from All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural Redemption pay per view, and several matches have so far been confirmed for the show.

New AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has his first challenger confirmed, after TNT Champion Kevin Knight interrupted ‘The Best Bout Machine’s title celebration on the July 15 edition of Dynamite. Knight stated he was owed a title shot by former champion MJF, and was instead invoking his claim against Omega. Despite not being enamoured with Knight’s conduct since joining The Don Callis Family, Omega granted Knight his request, and told ‘The Jet’ he knew there was goodness in his heart, before ending up on the receiving end of a Knight beatdown.

The AEW International Championship will also be contested at Redemption, with champion Kyle Fletcher facing ROH World Champion Bandido for the strap, the first ever singles clash between the two. The match came about following a backstage scuffle between the two on Dynamite.

In what will be a busy night for The Don Callis Family, Family member Mark Davis will put his AEW National Championship on the line against former ally Andrade el Idolo. Andrade earned the match after defeating Davis’ tag partner Jake Doyle in singles action. The match will be Andrade’s first AEW PPV singles bout since his loss to Darby Allin at Dynasty, and will be Davis’ first singles bout ever on an AEW PPV.

The issues between Chris Jericho and Tommaso Ciampa have reached their crescendo, and it seems the climax will occur at Redemption, with Jericho reverting to his ‘Painmaker’ persona to call out ‘The Psycho Killer’. The two have been at odds for several weeks, but have thus far only fought once, with Ciampa getting the win over Jericho at AEW Dynamite Beach Break on July 8.

After clashing on several occasions, AEW World Tag Team Champions Cope & Cage will officially put the titles on the line against the Death Riders team of PAC & Claudio Castagnoli, the legendary team throwing out the challenge on Dynamite after a scuffle with Claudio and PAC earlier in the night.
