Several NXT UK Stars Appear On WWE NXT

Multiple debuts on WWE NXT from NXT UK stars

A British invasion got underway on Tuesday's special 'Heatwave' episode of WWE NXT and several NXT UK stars debuted in the developmental brand.

During a promo from Diamond Mine, the faction were suddenly attacked by Wolfgang, Joe Coffey, and Mark Coffey of Gallus, leaving the likes of Roderick Strong and the Creed Brothers lying. The NXT UK group don't want the NXT Tag Team Titles, though, and they confronted NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs backstage later in the show to set up a championship match for next week.

Blair Davenport (FKA Bea Priestley) also made her WWE debut in the United States, appearing in a backstage segment. Her debut came after Indi Hartwell received a card from Dexter Lumis and Davenport suddenly snatched the card out of Hartwell's hands and tore it up.

The biggest NXT UK star was saved for the end of Heatwave, though, and following Bron Breakker's successful NXT Title defence against JD McDonagh, Tyler Bate came out and confronted the Big Bad Booty Nephew, with the show going off the air as they held up the NXT UK Championship and NXT Title.

This also caused a continuity issue as Bate has yet to actually win the NXT UK Championship on TV, although his title win was taped in early July. A tournament to crown the new NXT UK Champion began on TV last week.

There has been no official confirmation but it was strongly hinted that all of the NXT UK appearances were to set up an upcoming NXT vs. NXT UK: Worlds Collide event. WWE are reportedly planning to hold a major NXT show on September 4, the same day as All Out.
