Several Wrestlers Qualify For The Elimination Chamber On SmackDown

On SmackDown, three wrestlers qualified for the Elimination Chamber

WWE’s next stop on the Road To WrestleMania comes in the form of the Elimination Chamber PLE, and as the weeks go on more and more of the card is taking shape. WWE will be hosting two Elimination Chamber matches on the show, one to determine the WrestleMania opponent for the WWE Women’s World Champion, and the other (as announced last night) to determine Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship challenger at WrestleMania 40

There were several qualifying matches which took place on SmackDown last night, with three more wrestlers cementing their spots in the Chamber. Over on the women’s side, Bianca Belair defeated Michin to join Becky Lynch in the Elimination Chamber field.

For the men’s match, two wrestlers earned their place as Drew McIntyre defeated AJ Styles thanks to a distraction from LA Knight, and Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn, who had his sights firmly focused on the World Heavyweight Championship. Zayn’s dreams of becoming champion at WrestleMania may well be over.

The next set of qualifiers have been announced as LA Knight will take on Ivar and Bobby Lashley will battle Bronson Reed on RAW next week. On next week’s SmackDown, Naomi vs. Zelina Vega and Tiffany Stratton vs. Shotzi will take place, as will Logan Paul vs. The Miz and Kevin Owens vs. Dominik Mysterio.
