UFC Freedom 250 is taking place this weekend on the south lawn of the White House, and WWE wrestlers want to be there.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that several WWE names have expressed interest in attending UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday, June 14. A number of WWE wrestlers have reached out to the company about attending the event, and several backstage personnel are expected to be in Washington, DC for the weekend of festivities. This is beyond the WWE wrestlers already scheduled for the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest in Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, The Miz, Trick Williams, The Usos, Tiffany Stratton, and Bron Breakker.

WWE have close links to both UFC and US President Donald Trump. UFC and WWE share a parent company in TKO following the merger completed in September 2023, while WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque is the vice-chair of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition. Linda McMahon, the former WWE CEO, is also the current United States secretary of education, and such is the closeness between WWE and Trump's administration that WWE signed the niece of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in what was reportedly a "politically forced" move.

UFC Freedom 250 will emanate from the White House as part of the country's celebrations for the 250-year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. June 14 also just happens to be Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
