Shane Helms: WWE Raw Gorilla Position Was 'Sold Out' For Becky Lynch Vs. Liv Morgan

A stellar main-event to WWE Raw

Shane Helms has revealed that the Gorilla Position at WWE Raw this past Monday was 'sold out' with other talent and backstage officials all wanting to watch Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan.

Lynch versus Morgan for the Raw Women's Championship was the main event of the December 6 episode of Raw with the pair putting on an excellent match. Lynch would eventually walk out the winner, successfully defending her Title after using the bottom rope for leverage on a pin attempt.

Both women have been highly praised for their efforts in the bout and Helms, a WWE backstage producer, says the Gorilla Position was full of other wrestlers and individuals who wanted to show their support for Lynch and Morgan.

Writing on Twitter, Helms said: "I’m not naming names, you know who you are, but Gorilla was sold out for Liv-Becky. Seeing that kind of support was just awesome."

Lynch and Morgan have developed an intense rivalry in the past few weeks, with Morgan referencing her former Riott Squad teammates in a promo about how Big Time Becks' contract means other wrestlers had to lose their jobs.
