Shawn Michaels To Get Double Knee Replacement

With WWE’s huge announcement of WrestleMania 43 heading over to Saudi Arabia in 2027, marking the first ever international WrestleMania outside of North America, talk has already begun over which legends could be brought in to wrestle at the event. Reports have circulated regarding names like The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, but talk may now also begin about ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels. 

In an interview on Nightcap with Unc & Ocho, Shawn Michaels revealed that he is slated to get a double knee replacement very soon. 

“I’ve had my back fused, I’ve had my shoulder replaced, I have two knees I’m getting replaced probably in a month, and I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. I knew that going in as you guys did, I knew the price that was going to come with it.”

Michaels undergoing this sort of major surgery has already created some discussion about his potential of returning to the WWE ring. He was once already lured out of retirement for a Saudi Arabia show back in 2018 at the Crown Jewel.
