Shayna Baszler Doesn't Rule Out Potential WWE-Stardom Working Relationship
Shayna Baszler believes WWE and Stardom could work together
In recent months WWE have shown that they are open to working with other wrestling promotions, with Shinsuke Nakamura wrestling The Great Muta at a NOAH event, and Karl Anderson working NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 whilst under a WWE contract.
Whilst many don’t see this becoming the norm, it has created a host of potential scenarios, and WWE’s Shayna Baszler told Dark Puroresu Flowsion that she could envision WWE working with World Wonder Ring STARDOM:
“I have said many times would love a match against Giulia or Syuri, I think my ring style works really well with a style like theirs. As for a crossover, one thing in this business I have learned is [to] never say never,” said Baszler.
Several current WWE talents previously worked for STARDOM, such as IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, and Doudrop, while current IWGP Women's Champion and STARDOM roster member KAIRI formerly worked for WWE.
With STARDOM being the sister company of NJPW and with WWE seemingly forming some form of new bond with New Japan, then perhaps Baszler is right to ‘never say never’.
