Shayna Baszler's New Finisher Given A Name On WWE Raw

Since defeating Ronda Rousey at WWE SummerSlam 2023, Shayna Baszler has been utilising a new finishing move on Raw - similar to the Piper's Pit used by Rousey throughout her WWE run. 

However, Shayna's version of the move was given a new name on last night's Raw. After hitting the move on Chelsea Green, it was dubbed 'Exterminatus' on commentary.

Baszler's love of Warhammer 40K is well known, often paying tribute to the popular miniature wargame with the design of her ring gear. According to the Warhammer 40K wiki, Exterminatus is "an action ordered by the highest authorities of the Imperium of Man to destroy an entire planetary biosphere and all life upon a world."

After Shayna used the move to defeat Green, she was attacked by Piper Niven - only for Zoey Stark to even the odds and assist Baszler. This burgeoning alliance between Baszler and Stark is an interesting feature of the current WWE women's division, with both having recently split from their previous allies (Baszler from the aforementioned Ronda Rousey, and Stark from Trish Stratus.)
