Shelton Benjamin And Cedric Alexander Split Up On WWE Raw

Another tag team is no more...

Another WWE tag-team has seemingly split up after Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin appeared to part ways on Monday Night Raw.

The former Hurt Business members were in action against Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik, with the latter getting the win for his team by walking the top rope and hitting a diving elbow on Benjamin, pinning the former Intercontinental champion.

After the match, Alexander would get on the mic and berate his tag-team partner, saying it was his fault that the duo were kicked out of The Hurt Business before listing Benjamin's opportunities in WWE. Alexander would say he is still in his prime and refuses to give any more time to Benjamin or this tag-team, walking out on him.

Benjamin would address the situation in a backstage interview later in the show, saying that Alexander will respect him and, if he isn't careful, will just become another young star who fizzles out while Benjamin survives, hinting at a continued feud between the duo.

Benjamin and Alexander began tagging together in August 2020 and won the Raw Tag Team Championships from The New Day at the end of last year, holding them for 85 days.
