WARNING: This post contains spoilers from Fastlane.

Following the SmackDown Women's Championship match at tonight's Fastlane pay per view, it seems as though another match has been confirmed for WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

Charlotte Flair successfully defended her title against Ruby Riott, after allies of both women were ejected from the match. Becky Lynch and Naomi were sent to the back, shortly followed by Riott's stablemates, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

Having forced Riott to tap out to the Figure Eight Leglock, Charlotte was surprised by the entrance of Asuka - who wordlessly challenged her to a title match by pointing at the WrestleMania sign.

Asuka won the first ever women's Royal Rumble match back in January, last eliminating Nikki Bella to secure a title shot of her choosing at 'Mania. She defeated Nia Jax at the recent Elimination Chamber pay per view, thereby preventing Jax from making next month's bout a triple threat. This led many to believe that Asuka would be challenging for the Raw Women's Championship, as both she and Nia are members of the Raw brand.

However, Asuka's challenge now seems to suggest that she will be appearing on SmackDown from now on (although that has yet to be confirmed).

The question remains over the identity of Alexa Bliss' challenger for the Raw Women's Championship. The likeliest candidate appears to be her ally Nia Jax, who could well be on the brink of a face turn after being emotionally manipulated by the champion in recent times.

Asuka is still yet to be pinned or submitted in WWE.
