Following his debut at Halloween Havoc 2021, Solo Sikoa established himself as a popular talent in NXT and he was regularly featured on the Tuesday night show. After less than a year in developmental, though, Sikoa made his main roster debut, costing Drew McIntyre the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle in September 2022.

Speaking about his main roster call-up on Superstar Crossover, Sikoa revealed there were plans for him to pursue the NXT North American Title and possibly the NXT Championship.

"I felt like, before I got called up, there were a lot of plans to go after [the NXT North American Championship], to go over Carmelo Hayes and maybe Bron Breakker, you know, generation vs. generation. I just felt like it worked out just fine. Just letting everybody know that I never lost the North American Title. I had to give it up, so that's different things. I just felt like the plans worked out just fine because I'm here and I'm going after another title, hopefully soon," said Sikoa.

Following his main roster debut, Sikoa would win the NXT North American Title but he was stripped of the belt only one week later. He has since been a mainstay on Friday Night SmackDown as part of The Bloodline and he recently helped the faction to victory inside WarGames at Survivor Series.
