Sonya Deville Doesn't See Current WWE Role Changing Anytime Soon

Deville is enjoying her authority position

Sonya Deville has commented on a potential return to in-ring action in WWE, saying she doesn't see any end to her current position in the near future.

Deville's last bout in WWE came at last year's SummerSlam in a Loser Leaves WWE match with Mandy Rose. After losing, Deville took some time off before returning to the promotion as an on-screen authority figure at the start of 2021.

Speculation about a potential return to wrestling for Deville has ramped up in recent weeks but she herself believes she has taken to her new position well, and doesn't not see an end to it.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Deville said: "You know, I love what I’m doing right now. I think it’s a natural fit. I’m a leader in life, and I think it transitions well into a suit and tie. I love being in charge, so I’m content with where I am right now,” Deville stated.

“At the end of the day, of course, I’m a fighter, but I’m really enjoying growing and learning in this role. I don’t see an end to it anytime soon."
