Speculation Emerges Around Shane McMahon Following Jon Moxley's AEW Return

Jon Moxley made his return to All Elite Wrestling after several weeks on the August 28 edition of Dynamite, with the former AEW World Champion seemingly turning heel after a furious backstage assault on the show after a cryptic promo.

Moxley returned for an in-ring conversation with Tony Schiavone, with Moxley calling out Darby Allin ‘for a conversation’ at a later date. However, before exiting the ring Moxley said the following - seemingly to AEW President Tony Khan:

“I’m gonna tell you something, I want you to listen to me. It’s gonna take some time for everybody to wrap their brains around this, but we’re gonna start right now, okay? Listen to me. This is not your company anymore.”

Such wording has prompted speculation that Shane McMahon could be set to come in to AEW, with McMahon having recently met with Tony Khan.

Later on Dynamite, Moxley started causing trouble backstage, with Marina Shafir arriving and taking out several members of the backstage team. Due to both being former employees of WWE, this has seemingly added to speculation that McMahon could be coming into AEW storylines in the near future.
