"Speedball" Mike Bailey Reacts To Their AEW Debut

“Speedball” Mike Bailey is officially ‘All Elite’ and has spoken after their triumphant All Elite Wrestling debut on the March 12 edition of Dynamite.

Bailey arrived as the wildcard entrant in the International Championship tournament, defeating The Beast Mortos in style to advance to the next round. Taking to X/Twitter, Bailey shared the following thoughts on their debut:

“My heart is so full. I still don't have the right words for how I feel. I will eventually, but for now, I'm just gonna say thank you. What a perfect way to get started on #AEWDynamite! All your support is noted, tremendously appreciated, and will continue to keep me going.”

Bailey’s arrival in AEW had been expected for several months, with reports in late 2024 suggesting ‘Speedball’s arrival was imminent after their departure from TNA Wrestling. Whilst visa reasons were believed to be the cause of Bailey’s delayed arrival in AEW, they are now here to stay, with their arrival hyped across AEW TV via a series of vignettes.

A multi-time TNA X-Division Champion, ‘Speedball’ was regarded as one of the best wrestlers on the planet during their run in TNA.
