SPOILER: AEW Talent Returns During Collision Taping, Joins Faction

Surprise return on AEW Collision

A long-absent talent won't be gone from All Elite Wrestling for much longer.

AEW taped the Saturday, April 6 edition of Collision following a live episode of Dynamite on Wednesday night at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. One match on the show saw HOOK and Chris Jericho continue their new tag team as they picked up a win over Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty.

Following the match, Anthony Ogogo made his return to All Elite Wrestling and attacked both HOOK and Chris Jericho. The Olympic bronze medallist soon received assistance from Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty and Ogogo left Jericho lying following a KO punch. The trio then placed the Shane Taylor Promotions banner over the fallen Jericho to confirm Ogogo was the newest member of the faction.

Anthony Ogogo has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2019, signing with the company as one of their first developmental talents. He had a brief run on TV in 2021, losing to Cody Rhodes in their infamous match at Double or Nothing 2021 which centred around a United States vs. United Kingdom feud. Ogogo disappeared from TV soon after due to requiring eye surgery and he hasn't had a match across any AEW programming since August 2022.

Ogogo did appear on the AEW All In pre-show, helping Paul Wight and Grado to beat down the faction many call Total Nonstop Arseholes of Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt. Ogogo then had two dark matches in late 2023.

Ogogo signed a new deal with AEW in 2023 and he is believed to be under contract until the start of 2025.
