SPOILER: Former World Champion Turns Heel During TNA IMPACT Tapings

Heel turn coming up on TNA IMPACT

TNA Wrestling held their post-Sacrifice TV tapings on Saturday, March 9 at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Along with a multitude of matches, there was a heel turn at the tapings. Joe Hendry has been locked in a programme with AJ Francis since the former WWE talent's debut at Hard To Kill, where he took out Hendry. The two talents have continued to throw songs and jibes at each other ever since and Hendry teamed with Rich Swann to pick up a win over AJ Francis and Deaner on the February 29 edition of TNA IMPACT.

A singles match between Francis and Joe Hendry finally took place at the March 9 taping but the contest ended in disaster for Hendry as Rich Swann turned on him and helped AJ Francis pick up the win.

Rich Swann has been a part of TNA/IMPACT since 2018 and he has been a babyface for the entirety of his run. He is a former IMPACT World Champion, having defeated Eric Young for the gold at Bound for Glory 2020. Swann would drop the belt to Kenny Omega in a Title vs. Title match at Rebellion 2021 in one of TNA's biggest pay-per-views of the post-Spike TV era.
