Following the Dynamite on 34th Street taping on Saturday night, All Elite Wrestling returned to the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday to film the Christmas Day edition of AEW Collision.
The show featured the final matches of the AEW Continental Classic, and the final block standings were determined at the taping. Courtesy of his win over Jack Perry in the opening contest, Kyle Fletcher topped the Gold League and he will face Jon Moxley in the semi-finals as the former AEW World Champion defeated Orange Cassidy to finish second in the Blue League.
An opening was provided for Moxley after Roderick Strong, who went into his match with Claudio Castagnoli without any points, defeated the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion. Konosuke Takeshita, meanwhile, ended the tournament undefeated by picking up a win over Mascara Dorada to top the Blue League.
In the main event of the Christmas Collision taping, Kazuchika Okada scored a victory over "Speedball" Mike Bailey to finish in second place in the Gold League. This means it will be Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita in the other Continental Classic semi-final at Worlds End.
Elsewhere in the final round of Continental Classic matches at Christmas Collision, PAC vs. Kevin Knight went to a time-limit draw.
