[SPOILERS] IMPACT Wrestling Taping Results From August 16

IMPACT Wrestling returned to Skyway Studios for another day of tapings on Monday, August 16.

• Christian Cage opened the tapings and celebrated his world title win against Kenny Omega on AEW Rampage. Captain Charisma retired the TNA Heavyweight Championship and handed it to David Penzer, who took it to the back. Cage was then interrupted by Brian Myers and Sam Beale to hype up their world title match at Emergence.
• Jake Something def. John Skyler - BTI
• Chris Sabin def. Sami Callihan. Moose attacked both men after the match and Eddie Edwards made the save for Callihan.
• Mickie James had a confrontation with Deonna Purrazzo. The IMPACT Knockouts Champion attacked James which led to Melina and Trey Miguel making the save to fend off Purrazzo and Drama King Matt.
• Rich Swann & Willie Mack def. The Good Brothers. The Good Brothers put Swann and Mack through a table after the match.
• Rohit Raju & Mahabali Shera def. Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green
• Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering & Taylor Wilde def. Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne & Kaleb with a K
• Decay def. Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans, Fallah Bahh & No Way - Emergence
• Moose def. Eddie Edwards. W. Morrissey accompanied Moose to the ring and distracted Edwards which allowed the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion to pick up the win. A massive brawl featuring Moose, Morrissey, Edwards, Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Brian Myers, Christian Cage, Sam Beale, Josh Alexander and others then broke out and the faces ended the segment standing tall.
• Taylor Wilde & Rachael Ellering def. Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb with a K
• Decay def. Fallah Bahh & No Way
• Eddie Edwards confronted Moose and attacked him with a kendo stick. W. Morrissey headed to the ring and Moose joined him in beating down Edwards. 
• Josh Alexander def. Jake Crist - Open Challenge. After the match, Josh Alexander was interrupted by Chris Sabin and he challenged The Walking Weapon to an X Division Title match at Victory Road. Alexander accepted.
• John Skyler def. Laredo Kid
• The Good Brothers bragged about putting Willie Mack in the hospital. Rich Swann attacked them with a steel chair. 
• Trey Miguel def. Drama King Matt
• Steve Maclin def. Petey Williams. Williams was distracted by a conga line from Fallah Bahh and No Way.
• Christian Cage def. Brian Myers - IMPACT World Championship Match at Emergence
