He hasn't been seen on WWE television in close to a month, but a new report indicates that one of WWE's top stars will be part of this Monday's episode of WWE Raw, in order to build to his involvement at the following week's pay-per-view.
According to a report from John Pollock of POST Wrestling, AJ Styles is set to make his return on Raw this Monday. The report also indicates that Styles' appearance ties in with his participation in next Sunday's Monday in the Bank pay-per-view, but does not specify what that will entail.
Styles was last seen on WWE programming on the first night of WrestleMania 36, where he lost to The Undertaker in a critically-acclaimed Boneyard match. The result of the bout was Styles being buried alive in an open grave, his gloved hand billowing through the dirt as a last gasp of sorts.
During Styles' time away, his OC partners Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were both released from WWE. The two had been a part of that Boneyard match at WrestleMania, running interference on Styles' behalf.
