Stephanie McMahon Looks To Find The 'It Factor' When Assessing WWE Prospects

The Chief Brand Officer has a clear idea of what WWE needs

Stephanie McMahon has opened up on what she looks for in potential WWE recruits, stating she tries to see an 'it factor' in the prospects.

McMahon, currently the Chief Brand Officer for WWE, has worked in a multitude of different positions for the promotion in the last 20 years and ergo has a strong idea of what the company is after in their talent.

McMahon has been doing the media rounds as WWE prepares to return to live crowds and a touring schedule, and was asked what she looks for in considering potential recruits for the WWE system.

Much like her dad, Vince, she considers that ability to connect with the audience the most important trait.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, McMahon said: "For me, I look for that connection, that charisma. When it comes to that x-factor, you either feel it from someone or you don’t.

"They can be unpolished or show a lot of proclivity toward being able to do it, but if they don’t have that ‘it factor,’ or can’t connect with the audience, they won’t be able to make it to the top."
