Stephanie McMahon Says She's Hopeful Ronda Rousey "Will Come Back Home To WWE"

Rousey hasn't stepped in the ring in almost 2 years

Ronda Rousey hasn't stepped inside a WWE ring in almost two years since she faced Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

Stephanie McMahon was recently asked about Rousey's wrestling future by TMZ and the WWE chief brand officer said she was "very hopeful" that The Rowdy One will "come back home to WWE."

"Ronda's been very public that she'd like to start her own family. Once she does that, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open, we are very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE," McMahon stated.

Rousey signed with WWE in early-2018 and went undefeated in the company, capturing the Raw Women's Title along the way, before being pinned by Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

Rousey seemingly didn't enjoy every aspect of her professional wrestling run, though. She mentioned in April 2020 that she wouldn't return to WWE full-time because of "f*****g ungrateful fans" and she has previously described all of the travel as "the absolute worst."
