Stephanie Vaquer was involved in an injury angle on the special Stranger Things-themed episode of Monday Night Raw from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Vaquer made her way to the ring wearing a walking boot on the show, but her promo was quickly interrupted as she was attacked from behind by Raquel Rodriguez, who proceeded to work over the already-injured leg. Rodriguez then looked to pillmanise Vaquer's leg, only to be stopped by WWE officials, before she later attacked Vaquer backstage.
Vaquer's injury isn't simply part of a storyline, it has been revealed, with PWInsider reporting the WWE Women's World Champion is "a little banged up." Vaquer isn't expected to be out of action for a long period of time with the injury and her being banged up wasn't considered anything out of the ordinary due to the nature of pro wrestling.
Vaquer has cemented herself as one of the most popular wrestlers within WWE since signing with the company in the summer of 2024. In addition to her current WWE Women's World Title reign, Vaquer is a former NXT Women's Champion and NXT Women's North American Champion.
