Steven Borden is said to be doing ‘fine’ after suffering injury at AEW All Out on September 26.

Borden landed hard when attempting a coast-to-coast style collision with Kevin Knight during a Borden & Darby Allin vs. Knight & Kyle Fletcher tag match. The match was subsequently waved off by referees due to the incident, but Tony Schiavone has affirmed that Borden is doing ok, revealing the following information on the What Happened When podcast:

“I talked to Steven just yesterday [Sunday] on the phone. He was fine. He had no headaches, no dizziness. As far as a diagnosis is concerned, that has to come from our doctor. I can tell you, by talking to him, he said, ‘I’m fine.’ He said that ‘in all the years I played football for the University of Kentucky, I never had a concussion or experienced anything like that.’ He was more upset that he thought that he ruined the pay-per-view by what happened. I said, ‘No, you didn’t. We announced it and then announced it again to the crowd. Everybody was very happy that you were okay.’ That really lifted his spirits. How long will he be out? I don’t know, I’m sure they will have to check on him before he can get back in there. It was very scary,” Schiavone said.

The son of Sting was making his in-ring pay per view debut at All Out, having wrestled his first televised match for AEW on September 9.
