Stevie Richards Discharged From Hospital

Stevie Richards has been discharged from hospital after recent health issues

Former ECW star Stevie Richards has been discharged from hospital after recently being admitted due to health issues.

Reports suggested that the former BWO leader has been dealing with back and spine issues, with Richards recently posting a picture of himself with a walking aid to social media. In an update on his YouTube channel on March 1, Richards has revealed his current status:

"So, as you can see, I've been discharged from the hospital," Richards said. "We got discharged yesterday afternoon. So thankful and grateful to be back home. The past four to five weeks have been – saying rough is an understatement."

Richards announced that he will provide updates on his condition going forward, and whilst he ‘isn’t out of the woods yet’, ‘Big Stevie Cool’ is optimistic about being able to recover soon.

Best known for his run in ECW as part of Raven’s Nest, Richards featured in the semi-main event of ECW’s first-ever PPV in a Three-Way Dance with Sandman and Terry Funk at Barely Legal 97. Richards also had runs in WCW, WWE, and TNA, most famously leading the villainous Right to Censor in Attitude Era WWE.
