Sting Reveals He's Plotted Out The End Of His In-Ring Career

Sting has revealed details of his farewell match, whenever it may happen.

In a story by The Ringer, AEW's Sting has revealed details of his ideal final match. Speaking ahead of his part in The Great Muta's retirement bout, Sting said of his own eventual farewell:

“Well, I know Darby [Allin] is going to be a part of it for sure. I won’t have a singles match at this point. Darby will be along with me and I’ll be along with him and we can add more to it as far as I’m concerned. But I have a few people [in mind] and I really don’t want to say now.”

Both Sting and Darby are set to team with The Great Muta at Pro Wrestling NOAH's 'Great Muta Final BYE-BYE' on January 22 - the final match for Keiji Muto's Great Muta Persona (although Muto's final match overall will occur in February.)

The trio's opponents are yet to be announced. Sting's most recent match came alongside Darby at AEW Full Gear, where the pair defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a No DQ Match.
