Sting's legacy within professional wrestling looks set to continue through one of his sons.

Darby Allin in an interview with Fightful has revealed that Sting's son Steven Borden is currently training to be a pro wrestler. Borden seemingly caught the wrestling bug following his appearance at Revolution where Steven and Garrett appeared as Wolfpac Sting and Surfer Sting for their father's retirement match and even hit Stinger Splashes on the Young Bucks.

Darby noted that Revolution gave Steven the urge to train and Darby invited Borden to train with him as the former TNT Champion has a ring at his home. Steven Borden is now sleeping in a tent in Darby's front garden as he trains to become a pro wrestler.

The training was very much a change of heart from Steven Borden as Darby told Digital Spy ahead of Revolution that neither of Sting's sons were interested in wrestling.

"They're not interested at all. I've asked [Sting] I was like, 'I'm just curious, I really want to know have your sons ever tried this?' And he said, 'No, they're not interested.' It just wasn't a thing that they wanted to do, but I was curious because they're pretty big dudes. They should get together, become a tag team – that would be cool," Darby said.

Sting and Darby Allin were victorious over the Young Bucks in Sting's retirement match at Revolution, thus ending Sting's career as AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Like many an older gentleman, Sting will now be spending his retirement in the garden.
