Anthem have owned TNA Wrestling since 2017, but rumours are floating within professional wrestling about possible talks over a sale.

Fightful Select has reported that some wild rumours within pro wrestling are that former UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta is possibly involved in talks over a TNA sale, with his name emerging in meetings this week, which prompted a "Lorenzo!" tweet from Conrad Thompson. Fertitta has links to WWE due to both WWE and UFC being under the TKO umbrella, and Fertitta worked for decades with UFC President Dana White.

There have been feelers around a TNA sale for several years from both Anthem and potential buyers. It has long been known that Scott D'Amore tried to purchase TNA in early 2024, but Anthem rejected his offer. Tony Khan was also approached about buying TNA before the launch of All Elite Wrestling, and Khan was approached again a few years ago but turned down the opportunity. One person Fightful spoke to stated there wasn't much value for AEW in a TNA purchase as most of the veterans in the promotion were a part of the ROH library as opposed to TNA's.

TNA Wrestling have had a formal working relationship with WWE since January 2025, with the two companies having worked together on a full-time basis since May 2024. The long-running belief is that WWE will eventually buy TNA.
