All In is All Elite Wrestling’s biggest show of the year, but despite all manner of names appearing at All In Texas, the legendary Sting was notable by his absence.

The ‘Icon’ hung up his boots at AEW Revolution in January 2024 but remains under contract to AEW. A report from Fightful Select Answers Q&A suggests that many in AEW were surprised by the fact that Sting didn’t appear on camera during All In, with the multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion appearing at fan events in Texas the weekend of the show.

There were allegedly discussions about having Sting involved with All In but obviously these never came to pass. As well as being at fan events, Sting was at the show in Arlington’s Globe Life Field, with the former AEW World Tag Team Champion a resident of Texas.

Sting wrestled at the inaugural AEW All In in London’s Wembley Stadium in August 2023, with Sting and protégé Darby Allin defeating Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage in a tag team coffin match. At the event, Sting came out to Metallica’s Seek & Destroy for the first time in over 20 years. Sting then had a cameo at All In 2024, making the save for Allin when The Elite were going to set Darby on fire.
