Tag Team Splits On WWE NXT

A tag team on WWE NXT is no more. 

A Triple Threat Tag Team match was held on the Tuesday, March 14 edition of NXT that pitted Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn against Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, and Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley as they looked to earn a shot at the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships. 

During the match, though, Tatum Paxley abandoned Ivy Nile when the Diamond Mine member went for a hot tag, telling her tag team partner they were never a team. This left Nile down and out and she was quickly dispatched of by Dawn and Fyre, who put her away with a Backstabber-Swanton Bomb combination to score the victory.

Fyre and Dawn will now challenge the frenemy team of Kiana James and Fallon Henley for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships at Stand & Deliver on Saturday, April 1. James and Henley have been tag champs since defeating Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for the gold at Vengeance Day on February 4.
