Tag Title Match Added To WWE Clash At The Castle 2024

A new title match has been added to the WWE Clash At The Castle card

After previously struggling to get a sniff of a PLE card in recent years, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships are headed for their fourth straight WWE PLE card (if you include the pre-show at King & Queen Of The Ring).

Following their win at Backlash: France against Asuka & Kairi Sane of the Kabuki Warriors, new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have found themselves the target of many tag teams in the division. On last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Belair & Cargill once again defeated the duo of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, whom they previously successfully defended their gold against, but after the bell they were at the centre of an attack.

Both duos of Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn hit the ring to attack the champions. It was later announced that Clash At The Castle 2024 would host a triple threat WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between all three teams. Notably, Dawn and Fyre will both have a home field advantage, with the pair both emanating from Scotland, where the PLE is being held.

The update card for Clash At The Castle is as follows;

  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles - Undisputed WWE Championship, I Quit
  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven - WWE Women’s Championship
  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable - Intercontinental Championship
  • Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (c) vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark vs. Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) - WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
