Tag Title Match, "World Cup" Action Set For 11/11 WWE SmackDown

Plus Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Santos Escobar

A "World Cup" tournament will kick off on next Friday night's SmackDown, while WWE's Tag Team titles will be defended on the show.

The World Cup will be an eight man elimination tournament, where the winner will receive a trophy. The participants have not yet been revealed.

In addition, The New Day will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles on next Friday's card, facing either present champions The Usos, or potentially their Crown Jewel opponents The Brawling Brutes. The New Day cut a promo on Friday's show, informing the Usos they'd be waiting if they won at Saturday's event.

Also announced for next Friday's SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura will face Santos Escobar. Escobar took exception to Nakamura helping Hit Row in their rivalry with Legado del Fantasma, and challenged him to a match.

The current card for the November 11 SmackDown, taking place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, includes the following:

* Undisputed WWE Tag Team: The Usos (c) (or The Brawling Brutes, if they win Saturday) vs. The New Day

* Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Santos Escobar

* Beginning of the SmackDown World Cup
