Despite having not wrestled for the company in more than two years, Tamina is still under a WWE contract.
A recent report by Fightful Select noted that the second-generation star is still technically under WWE contract, though she is not listed on any internal rosters, has not been designated to a particular brand and is not often backstage at WWE events.
The 47-year-old's most recent match took place at a February 27, 2023 Main Event taping, where she lost to Michin. Her last pay-per-view appearance came at the 2023 Royal Rumble, where she was an entrant in the women's version of the titular match.
In the time since then, there have been numerous rounds of mass releases within WWE, while other talent have departed the company when their contracts have expired without being renewed.
It became clear last year that WWE had no plans to use Tamina, who will reportedly not be offered a new deal when her current one runs out.
The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, Tamina made her televised WWE debut in May 2010, alongside her cousins The Usos.
