Next week’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling is the go-home before the Victory Road IMPACT Plus special on September 18, and is set to be headline by a huge ten-man tag team match.

The teams are set to be lead by IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage, and number one contender Ace Austin ahead of their title showdown at Victory Road. Cage’s team includes Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan, Chris Sabin, and X Division Champion Josh Alexander, whilst Austin’s team features Madman Fulton, Moose, W. Morrissey, and Brian Myers.

The match came to be after Austin asked IMPACT EVP Scott D’Amore to put Cage in action ahead of their Victory Road main event, but Austin didn’t figure that he too would have to compete.

Whilst Cage’s team looks stronger on paper due to the inclusion of former IMPACT World Champions Sabin, Callihan, and Edwards, there is a lot of egos in the mix, with Callihan and Edwards currently enduring an uneasy alliance after years of animosity, whilst Sabin and Alexander are set to go one-on-one for the X Division Title at Victory Road.

As of yet, no other matches have been announced for the September 16 edition of IMPACT.
