We are several weeks removed from Tony Khan’s acquisition of Ring of Honor, and the future of the company is starting to look a little clearer following Tony Khan’s announcements regarding the upcoming Supercard of Honor XV.

The ROH World Tag Team Championships will officially be on the line at the show as 12 time champions The Briscoes are set to defend the gold against FTR. But ahead of the bout, Mark and Jay Briscoe sat down with The Battleground Podcast, and discussed their thoughts on Khan buying ROH:

"They were both shockers," Mark admitted.

"I would say Tony buying it, God bless that man, It's an awesome thing," Jay explained. "We're anxious to see what's getting ready to happen. At the same time, we're laser focused and have the blinders on every weekend, different shows, we have a job to do."

Mark would continue, "It doesn't matter what the promotion is or who runs the promotion, if we're in there, we're going to do what we do regardless."

Khan has announced that he intends to run ROH as a weekly show, and Jay Briscoe commented on what he thinks could be in ROH’s future:

"There is so much talent out there and only so much time to do wrestling shows. There are only so many hours in the week you can put wrestling on. Now you have a brand new platform. I think he's going to keep it going and it's going to be better than ever.”
